Responsibilities

Performs daily tasks related to updating associates’ time entries and processing of time entries
Inspects automated system output for errors and makes necessary corrections to time entries in the system
Reaches out to associates to ensure their time is entered/ updated in the system before the deadline
Assists other Capital One teams as required, to resolve errors and maintain or update accurate information in the payroll system
Assists the Tier I contact center representatives in handling and following up on inquiries related to time entry:
Under direction of team lead, provides information in areas where policy, procedure or requirements are unclear
Handles telephone calls and inquiries requiring detailed knowledge about the time & labor processes
Provides additional information and guidance to associates with questions concerning their pay
Performs a variety of regularly scheduled and ad-hoc audits of the time data to maintain compliance with established standards
Assists in year-end W2 reporting and preparation
Performs other duties as assigned
Regular attendance is required to be successful in this role and overtime may be required during critical production periods

Required

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience handling customer inquiries with a focus on associate experience
At least 6 months of experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Drive)

Preferred

Associate degree
Professional certification such as FPC or CPP
1-2 years of accounting/ payroll/ benefits experience
Experience with Workday Time Tracking
Experience with case management systems
Demonstrated customer service skills, attention to detail and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
