Responsibilities

Leading a team of experienced test engineers Software SW Electrical Engineer EE Mechanical Engineer ME to developing and delivering Test stations and their validation software for the equipment under test

Will be responsible for overall functioning of the trust stations the will majorly include the following

Studying the existing test flows and derive the new test flows as need for the new products

Prepare the required documenting required for the product kick-off meetings

Planning the test coverage as required for the new product and communicate wit hate HW & SW teams for the their test plans

Scope involves developing and delivering test equipment from hardware and software stand point meeting business objectives for cost, quality, schedule and other factors

Collaborating with cross functional teams for meeting the project objectives

Working close with the manufacturing units factories for production schedule and ensure the dates are adhered

Meeting all the requirements and critical parameters such as yield re-test etc

Working closely with the factory for developing the BOM for supporting the purchasing team to get the necessary supporting equipments for ensuring successful builds

Develop the testing times TAKT time needed for each station so, that the UPH requirements meeting as per the customer requirement and balancing the line

Experience in solving technical problems both independently and with cross functional teams

Highlighting risks and planning potential mitigation plan and proving heads up to key stakeholders

Prepare weekly program health status and share with keystone holders for internal teams and customer and interact with stakeholders to ensure there are no ambiguity and roadblocks re cleared from a technical standpoint

Communicate cross-functionally with engineering and business teams, as required Typical teams include HW Engineering, HW Test, GSM, Operations PM, etc

Manage supplier engineering performance and communicate progress

Adhere to the project schedule and deliver within cost, quality and timing

Required

8 years of technical work experience, preferably in a testing or a manufacturing environment

Demonstrate successful track record of developing engineered solutions, preferably involving HW and SW, including definition, sourcing, bring-up, debug, production qualification and scaling

Solid understanding of system architectures for a variety of electronic products

Hands on experience with bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, PSUs, and DMMs

Experience in production control processes data analysis solid statistical skills

Experience in Product development and release process

Experience in Team building

Exposure to electronic manufacturing partner supplier management in some capacity

Experience working with equipment suppliers

Experience in Client communication for requirement gathering and update
