This role focuses on driving insights, strategy, and optimization across consumer and auto lending, leveraging data to improve credit underwriting, pricing, and business growth.

Responsibilities
Lead design, recommendation, and execution of credit underwriting and pricing strategies using historical customer performance data
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Manage small to medium projects or major components of large projects, applying established methodologies
Identify risks, implement contingency plans, and communicate expectations to teams and stakeholders
Use analytics tools (SAS, R, SQL, Python, MATLAB) and decision tree software for insights and modeling
Leverage regression and machine learning models to understand customer behaviors and drive profitable growth
Present analyses and recommendations to leadership, influencing strategic decisions
Develop team members, manage priorities, and foster a high-performing analytical team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, Computer Science, or similar; advanced degree a plus
6+ years of risk underwriting experience in personal loans or cards; minimum 3 years in auto lending
Advanced analytical and modeling skills, with experience in SAS, SQL, R, or Python
Experience with decision tree analyses, segmentation tools, and cross-functional collaboration
Innovative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
Preferred
2+ years of people management or leadership experience preferred
