Field and work processing of samples, which includes, but is not limited to, helping to plant, maintain, harvest and process field studies. Data collection
Laboratory work, including but not limited to, processing, sorting and inspecting plant samples for diseases and insect damages. Data collection and entry
Qualification
Required
High school or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the lab and field plots or a related area
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Work with or without supervision
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Bend and lift up to 50 pounds
Work in a laboratory for multiple hours a day
Intermittent out-of-town travel to research plots during the workday
Driving is a requirement of this position
