Responsibilities
Asset-Liability Prophet modeling for annual Asset Adequacy Testing (i.e. Cash Flow Testing, C3P1/2, AG-38, etc.)
Understanding the interactions between Life insurance liabilities and the assets backing reserves
Provide support to the actuarial modelling team in building models
Create inputs and run models and summarize, analyze and validate model output results
Assist in preparation of Change Management Memos (CMMs) for various model and assumption changes
Support preparation of deliverables for internal and external auditors
Communicate effectively with manager and other team members, and successfully collaborate with other departments and partners to achieve objectives
Participate in the Actuarial Student Rotation Program
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or other related field
1-3 actuarial exams
1-5 years of actuarial experience; Prophet experience preferred
Solid oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
Good time-management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Basic knowledge of insurance products and insurance company operations
Preferred
Preferred experience with Excel, Word and database software and/or programming experience
Preferred actuarial internship(s) or one in a related field
