Technical Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level)

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Technical Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the F/A-18 Mission Systems team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization and involves responsibilities related to security support, process improvement initiatives, and software quality management.

Responsibilities

Security support including documentation and data transfer agent responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating compliance activities in a closed work area
Maintenance and collection Laptop physical forms
Maintenance and collection of Headset forms
Add users to networks
Review security requirements to process account requests
Security and Fire Protection Website
Submit tickets using GSEP to Dell once all paperwork is complete
Maintain Distribution Lists
Assist with classified hardware entry and exit criteria and documentation
Media Custodian Agent
Facilitation and leadership in team process improvement initiatives
Assist in cleaning up technical debt
Coordinate meeting/agenda including action tracking
Generation and refinement of software integration metrics
Coordinate with US Navy focal to provide flight test information to the Boeing team
Support execution of Software Quality Management Plan
Generating data to support the CAM's via the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Staffing and Adaptive Planning maintenance
Support Meetings ex: Major design milestone reviews, aircrew training, etc
Facilities maintenance requests/escorting (Maximo tickets)
Enter tickets for all things related to facilities
Escort maintenance team to perform work order
Supply orders utilizing Ariba
Facility signage orders (name plates/office plates for new employees)
Closely coordinate with New Hire Team to participate in onboarding of new employees

Required

2 years' related work experience (familiarity with engineering processes and best practices)
Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship as a condition of employment
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start may be required

Preferred

Level 3: 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor degree
Prior experience working in a classified environment
Prior experience facilitating meetings with various partners
Risk Opportunity Management experience
Experience with data analysis
