Responsibilities

We are hiring Tax Preparers / Enrolled Agents to support our growing accounting practice during tax season
This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their career in tax and accounting while working with an experienced and supportive team
You will prepare and review tax returns, assist clients with tax planning, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (federal, state, and local)
Provide tax planning advice and support to clients
Communicate with clients regarding documents and tax-related questions
Stay updated on current tax laws and filing requirements
Assist with audits and IRS or state correspondence
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of work
Work closely with team members to deliver quality client service

Qualification

Enrolled Agent (EA)Tax preparation experienceTax lawsTax softwareMicrosoft Office proficiencyAnalytical skillsManage tasksOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Experience in tax preparation, preferably in public accounting or tax services
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred

Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred; CPA is a plus
