Responsibilities

Security Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain all security procedures, including emergency response, access control, and facility security plans
Contract Security Oversight: Manage contract security personnel, including scheduling, performance monitoring, training, and compliance with relevant laws and standards
Access Control & Physical Security: Oversee facility entry/exit processes for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries; maintain and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, gates, and fencing
Incident Response & Investigations: Lead and participate in security and emergency response activities, internal investigations, and audits
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all security operations comply with DHS programs, corporate standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with operations, EHS, HR, and external agencies to support security initiatives and risk mitigation
Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and development for security staff to foster a culture of accountability and vigilance
Continuous Improvement: Identify vulnerabilities, recommend solutions, and implement improvements to enhance overall security effectiveness

Required

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience
7–8+ years of experience in security operations, loss prevention, or facility security, preferably in a critical infrastructure or industrial environment
Proven leadership managing contract security teams
Strong knowledge of DHS/CFATS programs, regulatory compliance, and physical security systems
Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Office Suite)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel for professional development or company initiatives
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Professional certifications such as PSP or CPP preferred
