Responsibilities

Perform tests, data collection, data analysis as directed by the Process Engineers

Collect and maintin coating production retain samples

Support new product development as needed

Support safety checks of equipment in the coating areas. Identify equipment problems and notify maintenance

Assist with routine reporting of various process/product metrics as directed by Process Engineers

Technically support and assist the Tekra claims resolution process

Support and audit 5S program in coating department

Support engineering team with estimating and part creation duties

Other related projects as assigned by the Process Engineers

Qualification

Forklift certificationData analysisProblem solvingCommon sense understandingMeasurement calculations

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to calculate measurements

Ability to compute rates, ratio, percent and interpret bar graphs

Ability to apply common sense understanding to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Preferred

1-2 years related experience preferred

Forklift certification preferred
