Responsibilities
Architect, build, and deploy Conversational AI services end-to-end: APIs, models, pipelines, and cloud infra powering Front Door, Agent/Flow/KB builders, and STT/TTS/LLM integrations
Lead a small pod while remaining deeply hands-on; drive demo → GA → customer adoption with clear metrics and pricing hooks
Establish API-first integration patterns across pods: Northbound APIs, webhooks, and shared integration layers connecting HCPro, Mosaicx IVA, CAI, and TJO orchestration
Productize AI workflows into repeatable, monetizable modules, including RAG-based knowledge services and speech-to-speech pipelines; integrate multiple LLM/TTS vendors and tool/webhook nodes
Implement data engineering for journeys and analytics: design schemas and pipelines across Databricks (WestCX data lake) and operational stores for journey state, real-time analytics, and attribution
Deliver healthcare interoperability: design/build HL7/FHIR integrations to support provider workflows (scheduling, referrals, waitlists) across HCPro and TJO
Orchestrate multi-modal messaging at scale: voice/SMS/RCS/email, IVA/telephony integration, Twilio/toll-free credential workflows, and decision/status/reporting APIs with compliance-aware policies
Drive reliability, security, and compliance (observability, auditability, RBAC, HIPAA-eligible patterns where applicable)
Multiple GA features shipped with docs, SLOs/metrics, and pricing hooks; pilot-to-production cycles under 6 weeks
99.9% availability with measurable latency/quality gains in CAI experiences and IVA/telephony flows
API integrations live between CAI, TJO, and HCPro/Mosaicx via Northbound API v1 and webhook subscriptions; data streaming into Databricks for Journey Insights and real-time analytics
API-first integration and eventing: REST, webhooks, northbound/southbound patterns; multi-tenant ops; shared integration services across CAI and TJO
Conversational AI engineering: dialog/flow builders, LLM integration, STT/TTS, speech-to-speech, and RAG-based knowledge services powering Engage/Mosaicx and CAI
Data engineering for journeys/analytics: Databricks data lake plus operational stores for journey state, real-time analytics, and attribution pipelines
Healthcare interoperability: HL7/FHIR design and integration for provider workflows bridging HCPro and TJO
Multimodal orchestration and telecom messaging: voice/SMS/RCS/email at scale, Twilio/toll-free credential APIs, IVA/telephony integration, and compliance-aware decisioning
Qualification
Required
Senior-level engineering background with real AI/ML production experience
Strong system design, cloud, and API expertise
Ability to lead without losing technical depth
Hands-on track record building API-first platforms
Conversational AI pipelines (LLM, STT/TTS, RAG)
Data pipelines/analytics
