Responsibilities
Conduct hydrologic/hydraulic (H/H) studies and drainage design for transportation projects
Perform stormwater management (SWM) and erosion/sediment control (ESC) design
Develop environmental permits and contract documents
Conduct quality control and peer reviews
Support marketing and business development efforts
Mentor and develop engineering staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
16+ years of hydrology/hydraulics/drainage/SWM/ESC design experience
Licensed as a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain within 6 months through comity from another state
Experience designing drainage, stormwater management systems/BMP's, erosion and sediment pollution controls; and preparing contract documents; experience with PA Turnpike Commission, and PA municipalities a plus
Strong knowledge of PennDOT/PA Turnpike specifications, policies, and procedures
Experience with H/H design software including HY-8, NRCS (TR-55/TR-20); HydroCAD, StreamStats, HEC-RAS, et. al
Hands-on experience with MicroStation CADD software. Understanding of 3D design, including OpenRoads Designer, a plus
Experience mentoring and developing engineering staff
Excellent reputation as an engineering professional and project manager
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
Preferred
Experience with PA Turnpike Commission, and PA municipalities a plus
Understanding of 3D design, including OpenRoads Designer, a plus
