Responsibilities

Define and own the technology and AI strategy aligned with business and product goals

Lead architectural decisions for scalable, secure, and high-availability systems

Oversee AI/ML model development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration

Ensure responsible, explainable, and production-ready AI systems

Lead the design and development of web platforms, APIs, and AI pipelines

Be hands-on with development, especially in early-stage product builds

Integrate diverse data sources (e.g. site data, imagery, sensor data, BIM, project data)

Collaborate with Product and Design to translate construction workflows into usable tools

Build technology that works in real construction environments (field, site, office)

Ensure systems are resilient to incomplete, noisy, or delayed data

Support mobile, offline, and edge-aware use cases where relevant

Work closely with construction experts to validate solutions

Hire, mentor, and manage engineers and data scientists

Establish engineering standards, MLOps practices, and development workflows

Foster a culture of quality, experimentation, and continuous improvement

Manage cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and deployment environments

Implement CI/CD, observability, and monitoring across systems

Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance relevant to construction clients

Optimize performance and costs as the platform scales

Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Support customer pilots, enterprise deployments, and technical onboarding

Contribute to investor discussions, technical due diligence, and roadmap planning
