The role involves overseeing multiple school bus locations, managing staff, ensuring accurate billing, and collaborating with safety managers to maintain operational standards.

Responsibilities

Oversight of a group of school bus locations. Work directly with the local management staff

Contract review for billing accuracy

Ensure billing sheets are updated daily and accurately

Manage the Speeding Control Process to ensure drivers maintain safe speed levels

Recruit, interview and hire new employees. Ensure proper staffing levels are met

Collaborate with trainers to ensure each trainee progresses through the training program. Interact with trainees to keep them engaged in the process and to assist them through the process

Work with the District Safety Managers to identify accident trends. Customize training and driver communication around problem areas

Ensure that 'At Fault' accidents and incidents are handled appropriately. Create driver write ups and work with Safety to ensure proper retraining is completed

Work with AVP and location managers to meet daily indirect hours target. Weekly follow up to ensure accountability

Manage Wage to Revenue Percentage

Provide routing support

Fill-in for managers on vacation or other absences

Conduct roundtable discussions with management and staff. Collaborate with management team to implement improvements
