The Senior Scientist will lead yogurt product development initiatives, translate customer insights into technical formulations, and support commercialization efforts.

Responsibilities
Lead yogurt product development initiatives, partnering with Marketing, Technical Services, Operations, and customers to deliver differentiated solutions
Translate voice of customer and regional market insights into viable technical formulations
Formulate and optimise fermented dairy and alternative dairy yogurts in lab and pilot environments, ensuring technical robustness and commercial feasibility
Design and execute experiments to assess structure–function relationships, supporting formulation and process optimisation
Act as the subject matter expert for yogurt applications, supporting complex technical challenges and commercialization
Evaluate new ingredients, formulation strategies, and processing technologies to enhance functionality and consumer liking
Own application project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
Coordinate sensory and consumer testing, manage sample production, and monitor shelf‑life performance using analytical measurements (pH, viscosity, Brix, solids, etc.)
Collaborate closely with Sensory, Rheology, and Texture teams for in‑depth evaluation
Support scale‑up and commercialization with regional/global teams and customers
Qualification
Required
Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience developing and commercialising dairy and plant‑based yogurt products
Strong expertise in experimental design, process development, troubleshooting, and data analysis
Proven ability to take products from concept to commercialization
Willingness to travel up to 20%
