Own and maintain company-wide accounting policies and procedures
Lead GAAP and SAP accounting research initiatives
Monitor and interpret guidance from FASB and NAIC
Coordinate annual policy reviews and updates across Finance
Perform quality control reviews of quarterly and annual regulatory filings (SEC & NAIC)
Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP, SAP, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, SAP, and SEC reporting
Excellent written communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Preferred
Financial services or insurance experience
