Territory Manager - Dallas
Formica Corporation is one of the most recognized names in the building industry, and they are seeking a Territory Manager for their Dallas location. The role involves managing distributor and customer accounts, closing sales, and identifying new opportunities to grow sales within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Track projects and opportunities to grow Formica sales in assigned territory
Advance Formica’s position in the market through enhanced partnerships with local distributor branches to facilitate project tracking, execution of initiatives/promotions, and distributor sales force coaching
Identify and understand competitive landscape, inclusive of product and distribution and actively shares these findings appropriately
Identify new opportunities for Formica sales within the assigned territory, to achieve/exceed financial objectives including sales, share, and profitability
Finalize and close sales with OEMs and target accounts – Distributors and Fabricators, within assigned territory to achieve/exceed financial objectives including sales, share, and profitability
Identify and develop target accounts by creating a value proposition for Formica to capture selling opportunities/leads in assigned territory that lead to closing projects for Formica
The TM will work collaboratively with their A&D Specialist counterpart, as well as with Inside Sales, and Customer Service internally to build Formica market share
Working with the A&D Specialist and distribution, execute and facilitate the marketing collateral strategy in the market
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
3 + years of relevant experience
Demonstrated sales ability
Overnight travel is required
Leads by example; ability to motivate others to achieve results
Excellent (verbal and written) communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills
Ability to collaborate and coordinate across the internal organization (Field Sales, Marketing, Legal, etc.)
Knowledge of computer systems/programs
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage time
Demonstrates the ability to provide solutions to customer needs in a win-win fashion
Must be able to present a value proposition and overcome price discussion/negotiation
Effectively balances internal relationships with external customer demands
Preferred
Business to Business (B2B) selling experience
Selling architecturally specified products
Knowledge of local markets
