Responsibilities
Carry out accurate composite layups and cure operations
Prepare molds, materials, tools, and workspaces
Build or modify tooling, fixtures, and test setups
Maintain and organize composites equipment and supplies
Troubleshoot unusual build challenges and propose solutions
Collaborate with engineers on design and process improvements
Qualification
Required
Ability to work the 2nd shift (1pm onwards)
Experience turning design concepts into precision composite components
Ability to prepare materials and tooling
Experience performing detailed layups
Ability to manage cure processes
Experience maintaining equipment
Ability to contribute to continuous improvements in methods and build quality
Ability to spot manufacturability challenges
Ability to carry out accurate composite layups and cure operations
Ability to prepare molds, materials, tools, and workspaces
Experience building or modifying tooling, fixtures, and test setups
Ability to maintain and organize composites equipment and supplies
Ability to troubleshoot unusual build challenges and propose solutions
Ability to collaborate with engineers on design and process improvements
Preferred
Strong hands-on experience working with composites (e.g., carbon fiber, pre-preg, thin structures)
Ability to produce high-quality parts using manual techniques
Experience with custom tooling or small-batch builds
Exposure to precision hardware domains (aerospace, racing, robotics, etc.) is a plus
