Portfolio Management of EM debt (hard or local currency) or EM Credit fund
Sovereign / Corporate credit analysis
Investment idea generation
Securities selection and portfolio construction
Client meetings with both existing and prospector investors
Contribute to the continuous development of the team’s investment process
Qualification
Required
Min of 10 years of proven experience in the investment industry as an EM Debt or EM Credit portfolio manager
Minimum $25m in transferable assets alongside a continuous (marketable) track record of at least 5 years with attractive excess of benchmark and peer returns. Vehicle agnostic (UCITS, private fund, SMAs, etc.)
A strong knowledge of Global emerging markets equities
A strong understanding of macroeconomic dynamics and how they influence EM Debt / Credit markets
A proven and positive track record in generating alpha using a disciplined investment process
The ability to model and analyse companies using a qualitative and quantitative approach is essential
The ability to communicate in a clear, simple and consistent way with other team members is essential
Lead PM should have a commercial mindset who is keen to support existing clients and help grow the asset base
