Hale International is supporting a Workday environment that requires expert review and optimisation across Workday Procurement. They are seeking an experienced Workday Procurement SME to provide an independent assessment of the current configuration and support best-practice alignment.

Responsibilities

Conduct a full review of the current Workday Procurement configuration, including setup decisions made during implementation
Assess alignment to Workday best practices and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
Produce a clear, structured recommendations report outlining system enhancements and corrective actions
Partner closely with Procurement and Compliance leadership to explain configuration decisions and best-practice approaches
Support the development of a prioritised roadmap for planned improvements and future enhancements
Provide guidance and support on more complex Procurement configuration as needed
Act as a subject matter expert, clearly explaining concepts and supporting knowledge transfer and training for internal teams
Work collaboratively with product leads and stakeholders to restore confidence in the Procurement solution and operating model

Required

Strong hands-on experience with Workday Procurement configuration and design
Proven ability to review, assess, and optimise existing Workday configurations
Experience advising stakeholders on best practices and design decisions
Confident communicator, able to explain complex concepts clearly to both functional and non-technical audiences
Experience supporting training, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Ability to work independently in a short-term, high-impact engagement
