Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics transformation initiatives for a major retail client

Act as the primary point of contact for business and IT stakeholders, ensuring alignment on program goals, timelines, and deliverables

Conduct requirement-gathering workshops to capture business needs and translate them into actionable roadmaps and solution designs

Drive communication with business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle

Collaborate closely with offshore teams to coordinate and track deliverables, ensuring timely and quality outcomes

Lead and facilitate monthly Steering Committee meetings with senior executives and business sponsors

Organize and drive regular Functional Council meetings to provide progress updates, align on key decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations

Partner with IT stakeholders to align on tools, technologies, and infrastructure required to support business objectives in the D&A space

Work with the offshore Project Manager to review and maintain project plans, align on timelines, and manage risks and dependencies

Oversee the creation and maintenance of the feature backlog, driving delivery with an Agile mindset

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users and ensuring readiness for deployment

Lead deployment planning and release communication in collaboration with offshore teams

Understand user adoption requirements and lead the creation of training and enablement content, leveraging offshore support as needed

Qualification

Required

Minimum 15+ years of industry experience, with at least 5+ years in leading Data & Analytics projects for retail clients

Proven experience in managing BI and analytics transformation programs in an onsite-offshore delivery model

Strong understanding of retail domain concepts, KPIs, and business processes

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and IT leadership

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Power BI, and MicroStrategy

Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies

Preferred

Experience in BI tool migration projects is highly desirable

Familiarity with AI/ML techniques for identifying data patterns and anomalies
