Responsibilities
Manage reinsurance accounting, including premium calculations, payables, recoverables, invoicing, and general ledger reconciliation
Ensure reinsurance activity is accurately reflected in financial statements and regulatory reporting, including Schedule F
Research and resolve reconciliation issues and oversee corrective actions
Analyze reinsurance cost trends and explain significant variances to leadership
Support monthly close, consolidated financial reporting, and internal control compliance
Partner with external auditors and regulatory examiners
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, documentation, and automation
Provide technical accounting guidance to FP&A and cross-functional teams
Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and special projects
Qualification
Required
CAT P&C Reinsurance Accounting: 3 years
