Underwriting Assistant
Admiral Insurance Group is a leading provider of commercial lines property casualty insurance, specializing in underwriting challenging commercial businesses. The Underwriting Assistant will support the Underwriting Operations department by processing binders, policies, endorsements, and client correspondence for Professional Liability accounts.

Responsibilities
Binder & policy issuance
Processing of endorsements and related correspondence
Requests additional information for subjectivities, endorsements, surplus lines taxes
Issues notices of cancellation, non-renewal notices or reinstatements within authority
Responsible for accuracy and maintenance documentation in underwriting files
Detail oriented and uses sound judgement to problem solve
Provides backup support for clearance processing
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma required; Undergraduate degree preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial lines insurance experience
Experience with Professional Liability coverages is ideal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess strong analytical and prioritization skills
Proven capability for client servicing
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proven capability to verbalize and implement innovative ideas
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
This is an in-office, in-person role located in Seattle, WA
Preferred
Undergraduate degree preferred
Experience with Professional Liability coverages is ideal
