Responsibilities

Coordinating with proponent groups and building committees to facilitate rational facility planning, budgeting, and scheduling

Preparing requests for proposals (RFPs) and conducting necessary meetings to hire architectural and construction management services

Preparing, submitting, and managing capitalized expenditure budgets while tracking variances to ensure smooth recovery processes

Ensuring that build-outs and expansions are organized to limit business disruption in partnership with workplace resources

Monitoring all phases of construction to ensure adherence to contract and procurement requirements

Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and supporting Health & Safety (H&S) program initiatives

Preparing detailed project reports and controlling expenditures according to budget allocations

Acting as a technical expert for the RFI/CFT process, creating specifications and scope of work statements

Providing essential counsel to workplace leadership and related functions such as finance, HR, security, and procurement

Managing initiatives to improve service delivery regarding both cost and quality, coordinating moves into new facilities, and maintaining effective communication with consultants and internal customers

Required

Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; however, a degree in another field combined with relevant experience is acceptable

At least two years of project management within corporate real estate or facilities, preferably in a complex production environment

Strong ability to manage budgets subject to external demands

Progressive experience in leadership roles with the ability to motivate teams and influence senior leadership

Technical proficiency in OSHA, ISO, NFPA, ANSI, and ADA standards

General knowledge of FAA, EASA, and ICAO standards

Proficient in business applications like Microsoft Office or Google G-Suite and CMMS tools like Corrigo

Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple work-streams in a multi-cultural environment

Diplomatic and flexible professional capable of creating alignment in a matrix environment

Decision-making responsibilities include choosing vendors through the Airbus process and making final recommendations for real estate projects and capital expenditures

Justifying costs to local leadership and international Capex committees

Management of a small, single-function team with expense and revenue responsibilities under $1 million
