Responsibilities
Perform software planning, requirements management, risk management, design, development, architecture, modeling, estimation, documentation, configuration management, quality assurance, security, and testing
Develop, test, and refine code in multiple programming languages and scripting environments
Generate and review operational and procedural scripts to support cyberspace operations
Integrate capabilities with common services and participate in software integration and testing of tools
Analyze and reverse engineer source code, as required
Establish and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery mechanisms in accordance with industry best practices
Generate technical writing and documentation and perform lifecycle maintenance of software programs
Participate in solutions/scoping discussions, requirements refinement, complexity estimation, and potentially live operations to meet supported unit/team needs

Required
Active TS/SCI
Ability to complete required CUI and OPSEC training and adhere to associated policies and procedures
Ability to complete security paperwork within 7 calendar days of request and attend security events within 5 calendar days of notice
Minimum 7 years of software development experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior or lead developer capacity
Expert proficiency with multiple programming languages (including C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash/Bourne/C Shell, Rust, and assembly)
In-depth knowledge of operating systems (including Windows, Linux/Unix, Android, and iOS)
Proficiency with development and debugging tools such as GDB, Valgrind, LLDB, IDA Pro, Ghidra, and similar tools
Ability to perform software integration and testing of tools acquired via separate contracts or vendors
Ability to establish and maintain CI/CD mechanisms and contribute to testing (unit, integration, system, acceptance)
Experience analyzing and reverse engineering source code
Willingness and ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS as required, including potential travel with three days' notice for 1–3 weeks
Compliance, as applicable, with DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification requirements for personnel performing cybersecurity functions; support for monthly cybersecurity workforce reporting
Preferred
Experience with exploit development or vulnerability research
Experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering
Security certifications (Security+, OSCP, GPEN)
Experience with low-level systems programming and embedded systems
Contributions to open-source security tools or research
Prior experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
