The role involves reconciling cash receipts, managing cash reporting, and collaborating with various teams to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Reconcile daily cash receipts from multiple locations, banks, and insurance payors
Post and review daily payment journals, including insurance and patient payments
Manage back-end cash reporting and reconciliation activities across all locations
Prepare and distribute daily cash and collections reports to senior leadership
Reconcile bank journals (including Wells Fargo) and remote check deposits
Respond to payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and NSF activity
Partner with operations and internal teams to resolve missing or incorrect journals
Support month-end reconciliations, balance sheets, and cash position reporting

Required

2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or banking
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with bank reconciliations and cash controls
Comfortable working in a multi-location environment
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced setting

Preferred

Experience with healthcare payments, insurance posting, or payment platforms (e.g., Phreesia, Conescan)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
