Responsibilities

Provide Senior level expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment

Lead as the Subject Matter Expert on all VDI related issues/needs

Provide support for ticket escalation on major outages

Be able to work in a rapid paced environment at times

Provide strategic leadership and input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements

Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments as needed

Interacts with Tier III support and evaluates vendor products

Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources

Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures

Application of security settings and other commercial best

Provides coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level technical staff

Required

Bachelor's degree and/or 8+ years of overall related experience with a Windows/Linux server environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree

Windows, Linux, and Solaris Server experience with an expertise in at least one

Extensive experience working with virtual environments using VMware and VDI practices

Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI is required for this position

Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g. Security+ce
