Responsibilities
Own capital projects from concept through handover in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
Lead conceptual design, front-end engineering, and detailed design reviews
Specify and integrate AGV systems including safety systems, and interfaces to WMS, MES, and PLC/SCADA
Manage automation hardware scope including PLCs, HMIs, networks, sensors, drives, and safety systems
Develop URS, FDS, and technical specifications aligned to GMP requirements
Lead vendor selection, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
Manage cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, quality, validation, IT/OT, and operations
Control budget, schedule, risk, and change using structured project controls
Support qualification and validation strategy in line with GxP expectations
Qualification
Required
8+ years delivering engineering projects in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing
Proven delivery of AGV or automated material handling systems in live production environments
Strong background in conceptual design and front-end engineering
Hands-on experience with automation systems and hardware including PLCs, SCADA, networks, and safety systems
Experience integrating equipment with MES, WMS, or higher-level manufacturing systems
Solid understanding of GMP, validation, and change control processes
