Infrastructure Edge Strategy, TPM, Strategy and Planning
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The role involves developing strategies for growth in key locations for interconnect capacity and improving resiliency, scalability, cost, and performance on behalf of customers.

Responsibilities
Setting the future strategies and roadmap for the team across new products
Identifying priority locations to re-architect existing infrastructure approaches
Managing cross-functional input to inform potential partnerships and build solutions
Developing plans of record for scaling and growing infrastructure in different metro areas
Setting schedules for infrastructure migrations and re-designs
Working with external customers to identify requirements and prospective partnerships to enable new infrastructure launches
Improving cost structures for preferred infrastructure architecture
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Preferred
Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in technical support
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Experience working in international cross-functional teams
- MS, MBA, JD, or other advanced degree
