Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions
Implement frameworks to ingest data from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all pipelines
Build and optimize data lakes and warehouses using Amazon S3, Redshift, Athena, and Lake Formation
Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets
Oversee workflows to ensure high availability, performance, and timely issue resolution
Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Athena, SNS, and SQS
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
Solid knowledge of schema design, data modeling, and performance tuning
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Experience implementing IAM, encryption, and compliance standards
