Supply Chain Supervisor

Responsibilities

Set and manage expectations with customer service, Product Line Management regarding ATP (available to promise) levels and manufacturing plans
Identify and resolve capacity constraints to support volatile demand
Supervise production control activities, coordination of experiments, maintaining priorities and serve as department’s primary liaison with the operations, engineering, and quality Departments
Drive continuous improvements utilizing lean and six sigma supply chain tools (Value stream mapping, Kaizen, DMAIC, etc.)
Serve as a business resource for the MES and ERP systems, working in conjunction with system SME positions
Responsible for the development of department personnel through establishing objectives, performance appraisal, feedback and direction that are aligned with business, product and individual development needs
Generate reports and analysis that increase the effectiveness of planning and manufacturing operations
Develops and recommends plant inventory management strategies and lean tools to gain efficiency and drive solutions
Directly responsible for performing work in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment. Is responsible for his/her safety, as well as that of others that may be at the facility, whether working or visiting. Is responsible for observing safe work practices and being proactive for reporting any unsafe conditions

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Planning or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience interacting across functions (engineering, supply chain, etc) and at all levels of the organization
Experience working within ERP systems

Preferred

Minimum 2 years experience in supply chain
APICS certification
Experience, training or certification Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence
Prior supervisory and/or project management experience
