Responsibilities
Designing software using various languages, frameworks, and technologies
Adding features to existing software packages, typically in C# or VB.NET
Working to update application documentation
Helping setup computers and check out systems
Working with other engineers as required to determine software requirements
Testing software changes
Helping to specify and evaluate software to be purchased
Layout, specify, implement, and test networks for controls products
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited two or four-year program, working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related major
Capacity to handle confidential information
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Current GPA of 3.0 or higher, preferred
Proficiency in at least one Object Oriented language is preferred
