$80K/yr - $110K/yrQUANTEAM - North America is a consulting firm specialized in Banking and Financial Services. They are seeking a Junior Developer with strong C# skills and an interest in AI/Machine Learning to support a Credit Trading Desk.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance Front Office trading tools supporting Credit trading activity (pricing, risk, workflow automation, monitoring, reporting)
Build and maintain C# applications used directly by Front Office users
Contribute to AI-driven initiatives such as:
Improving decision-support tools
Automating repetitive desk workflows
Analyzing trading / market datasets for insights
Supporting advanced analytics for risk and P&L monitoring
Work closely with stakeholders (Traders, Quant, Sales, Risk, IT) in a fast-paced environment
Participate in the full development cycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or similar
Strong foundation in C# / .NET (internships and academic projects are welcome)
Solid programming fundamentals: OOP, data structures, algorithms, clean code
Strong interest in AI / Machine Learning demonstrated through: school projects, internships, personal projects (GitHub, Kaggle, research, etc.)
Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders
Preferred
Exposure to Python (data analysis, AI/ML prototyping)
Familiarity with ML concepts (supervised learning, NLP, forecasting, model evaluation)
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Front Office exposure or strong interest in: credit markets, bonds / CDS, trading systems, financial products in general
Experience with cloud / data tools is a plus (AWS, Docker, APIs)
