Responsibilities
Work as part of clinical teams in case start-up, facilitating organ donation cases, operating room support, and educating hospital partners
Communicate with hospital staff and document throughout the donation case
Self-schedule monthly shifts, including weekend requirements, working 14 nights (7p-7a) 12-hour, on-call shifts per month
Utilize a variety of systems and phone work to communicate among the teams
Qualification
Required
Experience in an ICU or critical care setting
Critical Thinking – Donation processes are complex and require the ability to assess and prioritize multiple factors in a challenging environment
Education and Relationship Management – we work closely with medical teams to ensure procedures are executed smoothly and efficiently
Critical Care – having exposure to a critical care setting is required
