Responsibilities
Aid the team in advancing machining capabilities in an R&D setting
Prepare CNC machining profiles for parts being machined
Select tooling based on parts and material
Provide technical expertise in Mastercam applications
Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes
Produce precise prototypes or components for destructive testing
Teach programming techniques internally to the team
Program basic machining operations on a Haas machine
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in CNC Programming and experience with 3+ years of experience in Mastercam
Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC machining operations
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T
Machining background with the ability to set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines with various materials including aluminum, steel, plastics, etc
Ability to effectively teach programming and machining concepts to team members
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience in an R&D setting is beneficial
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, or a related field is beneficial
