Responsibilities

Assist in product design, analysis, and testing in all areas of electro-technology applications such as analog and digital circuits and systems analysis; digital signal processing techniques and implementations; Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/ Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) analysis; power supply evaluation; radiofrequency component analysis; microcircuits (e.g., Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), microprocessors, memory circuits) evaluation; and radiation hardened electronic circuits analysis and evaluation
Perform electrical/electronic/computer engineering work involving the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes to the acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate significant and complex projects involving such items as electronic circuits, circuit elements, firmware, software, embedded processors, networks, electric motors, machinery controls, power supplies, batteries, wiring, cabling, circuit protection, and associated phenomena concerned with electromagnetic or acoustical wave energy or electrical information for purposes such as communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, and navigation
Perform duties involved in research, development, testing, evaluation, operation, maintenance, and/or directing the fabrication, manufacture, and installation of electronic devices or systems

Required

U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's degree with individual research development plus 20 years related experience
OR Master's degree with individual research development plus 15 years related experience
OR PhD with individual research development plus 5 years related experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Must be able to apply knowledge of professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to effectively apply advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts to project development, execution, and advisory services and to resolve problems related to design, acquisition, and sustaining of munitions items
