They are looking for an experienced Credit and Collections Specialist who will be responsible for contacting customers to collect outstanding invoice payments while maintaining professional relationships and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities
Monitor accounts/aging reports to identify past due accounts & amounts
Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder
Contact Customers to obtain payment status of past due invoices
Investigate historical data for disputed invoices
Research and resolve disputed invoices
Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details, schedules follow-up communication with account holder
Take actions to encourage timely payments
Process payments and Customer credits
Communicates the status of delinquent accounts to Management or other appropriate personnel
Performs other related duties, as required
Qualification
Required
Have a minimum of 5-7 years relevant work experience
You must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as negotiation skills, with knowledge of credit and collections rules and regulations
Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role
Knowledge of business to business (B to B) billing procedures and collection techniques
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Skilled in negotiation
Critical thinking skills
Have strong analytical and research skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines
Have flexible work attitude and ability to successfully manage changing priorities
Ability to exhibit composure, patience and confidence when facing demanding situations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus
