Responsibilities
Lead the corporate financial planning cycle, including budgeting, revisions, and forecast processes, ensuring clear communication of financial outcomes to senior leadership
Partner with executive leadership, business unit leaders, and finance controllers to understand financial and operational drivers of performance
Build and scale the business performance function, including organizational design and talent development
Assess enterprise level performance against plans and targets, guiding adjustments and responding to leadership inquiries
Evaluate risks and opportunities within annual planning and forecasting cycles by analyzing financial and non financial performance drivers
Contribute to the development and refinement of accounting, planning, and reporting policies
Direct complex financial, profitability, cost, and business analysis initiatives for executive audiences
Provide financial planning guidance and modeling support across multiple business units, including regulated and non regulated operations where applicable
Present financial performance results clearly and concisely to senior and executive management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Data Science
MBA or Master's degree in Data Science strongly preferred
10 plus years of relevant experience in financial planning, performance analysis, or corporate finance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Advanced experience with enterprise planning or financial systems such as SAP, BPC, or SAC
Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Proven project management experience
Demonstrated experience leading process transformation initiatives
Strong communication and executive presentation skills
Highly analytical, detail oriented, and solutions focused
Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands on when required
Self motivated and proactive with the ability to perform in fast paced, high pressure environments
Preferred
Experience within utilities or similarly regulated industries preferred but not required
Master's degree preferred
CPA preferred
