Kavalio is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Engineer to join a globally distributed team responsible for building and supporting a robust, enterprise-grade data platform on Snowflake. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure data solutions on the Snowflake platform

Collaborate with globally distributed engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver enterprise data capabilities

Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and storage through best practices (clustering, warehouse sizing, query tuning, etc.)

Implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines using ELT/ETL frameworks

Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across the enterprise data platform

Support CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure-as-code practices

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability

Contribute to architecture decisions, technical standards, and platform roadmap

Qualification

Snowflake CertificationSQLCloud environmentsData modelingTeam collaboration

Required

Snowflake Certification (e.g., SnowPro Core or Advanced) and/or AWS Certification

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake in an enterprise or large-scale environment

Proficiency in SQL and experience with complex data modeling

Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS

Proven ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team
