Material Planner/Analyst - Richardson, TX

Responsibilities

Drive and manage high-visibility programs, overseeing all aspects from inception to completion
Prepare work order releases based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements
Work with program support staff and factory leadership to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
Collaborate with other Demand Planners and Master Schedulers to align MRP requirements to customer schedules
Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed
Working daily to confirm material supply and demands for multiple part numbers
Analyzing metrics to identify and take corrective action on unfavorable trends

Required

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Relevant experience is manufacturing work related to forecasting product demand, factory efficiency, and/or supply chain operations
Experience using SAP enterprise resource planning software
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred

Ability to work proactively and independently, consistently delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision
Continuous learner: retaining training and information, applying knowledge effectively to achieve objectives
Supply Chain experience
Collaborative Manufacturing Execution Systems (CMES)
MRP systems experience
