VP Communications - New York
Connect CRE is seeking a VP of Communications to lead client strategy and account management across multiple relationships. The role involves developing integrated communications strategies, overseeing campaign execution, and managing media relations to enhance client visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities
Lead client strategy and serve as the primary day-to-day account lead across multiple client relationships
Partner with clients to develop integrated communications and marketing strategies, including timelines and project plans
Oversee overall account management and ensure seamless execution across all deliverables
Proactively identify opportunities to add strategic value, grow existing accounts, and expand client relationships
Collaborate with Connect’s creative, technology, and communications teams to ensure successful execution across accounts
Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries from journalists, clients, and internal team members
Deliver regular project status updates and performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team on pursuits and pipeline development
Participate in new business presentations and meetings with prospective agency clients
Attend and participate in client events and key industry conferences
Develop and execute integrated communications campaigns, including media relations, thought leadership, digital, social and content marketing, events, awards programs, and outbound campaigns
Create strategic content plans, editorial calendars, and long-term marketing roadmaps that drive visibility, engagement, and impact
Develop message strategy, key messaging frameworks, and compelling storytelling across platforms
Produce and manage content under tight deadlines, including press releases, profile stories, articles, case studies, blogs, client content, awards submissions, and creative copy for websites, brochures, advertisements, and other collateral
Develop background materials and briefing documents to prepare clients for media interviews and public appearances
Write and pitch press releases and story ideas to national, regional, and trade media across print, broadcast, and digital platforms, with a focus on commercial real estate, finance, law, architecture, research, technology, and business
Arrange and facilitate interviews and editorial meetings between client spokespeople and key journalists(including media tours and trade show media bookings)
Monitor media coverage and report results to clients and internal stakeholders
Manage client social media presence, including ideation, content drafting, scheduling, and posting
Ensure alignment between social, content, and broader communications strategies
