Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, timely, and competitive quotes based on customer requirements, product specifications, and pricing models
Analyze pricing data, cost structures, and market trends to ensure that quotes are competitive and profitable
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide customized quotes
Ensure that all quotes are documented and comply with company policies and procedures
Maintain and update CRM, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and up to date
Work closely with various teams, such as sales, procurement, and finance, to obtain necessary data and ensure consistency in the quoting process
Identify areas for process improvements and recommend ways to streamline the quoting process
Work closely with business line leaders to analyze margin performance and pinpoint opportunities for improvement within the fulfillment process
Facilitate regular market and industry discussions with executives and business line leaders
Assist sales and marketing in lead generation discovery
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
Proficient in CRM software
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
Preferred
bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
experience in quoting, pricing analysis, or similar role
Professional experience or familiarity with stainless steel and aluminum
Experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations business systems
Familiarity with industry-specific pricing structures and trends
