Responsibilities
Database Management: Maintain and update sample and clinical databases for research cohorts
Data Processing: Extract, format, and validate clinical data for downstream genetic and genomic association analyses
Image Curation: Collect and organize pathological images from kidney biopsies (~2,000 annually) across multiple OPO centers
Image Annotation & QC: Perform annotation and quality control of images under supervision of renal pathologists to support AI/deep learning model development
System Implementation: Assist in deploying a web-based LIMS to centralize research data, track project progress, and manage data transfers/backups for collaborative research
Compliance: Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to institutional and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field
Proficiency in SQL, Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
Experience with image processing tools and annotation platforms
Familiarity with LIMS and research data management systems
Knowledge of genetic/genomic data workflows is a plus
2+ years in data analysis or research data management, preferably in a clinical or academic setting
