Responsibilities
Build Intuitive Interfaces : Develop features across Node, React, and Postgres (TypeScript) so non-technical users can design AI automations with ease
Explore Advanced AI : Contribute to projects involving LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents— from research/prototyping to full production releases
Shape Core Architecture : Help refine our stack to handle growing data/usage needs, ensuring reliability and scalability
Iterate with Product & Design : Work in a tight loop—prototype, gather feedback, and deliver high-impact features efficiently
Qualification
Required
2+ years of professional software development experience (at least 1 year with full-stack responsibilities)
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Comfortable working on-site in NYC (4–5 days/week) to foster a close-knit, collaborative environment
Proactive, self-motivated problem solver with strong communication skills
Experience in a typed environment (preferably TypeScript) across Node.js, React, Postgres, etc
Preferred
Large-Scale Systems Knowledge: Exposure to distributed systems, queues, caching, or ETLs
Information Retrieval / Recommendation Systems: Experience building or contributing to search/ranking components
Applied AI: Familiarity with evaluating AI models or integrating multi-LLM workflows at a basic level
Startup or Small Team Experience: Comfortable wearing multiple hats and driving projects with minimal oversight
