Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang and Java
Build and consume RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services
Develop microservices-based architectures with scalability and resiliency in mind
Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
Implement data persistence layers using relational and NoSQL databases
Integrate backend systems with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Follow Agile/Scrum development practices

Required

Strong experience with Golang and Java
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
Experience building REST APIs and microservices
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot (Java) and Go frameworks (Gin, Echo, Fiber, etc.)
Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and memory management
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis)
Familiarity with Docker and containerization
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
Understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization (OAuth, JWT)

Preferred

Experience with Kubernetes
Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
Exposure to distributed systems and high-availability systems
Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers
Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or large-scale enterprise systems
