Responsibilities
Design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and 9-1-1 industry standards
Analyze and reverse-engineer legacy designs using AT&T drawings, databases, and internal SMEs
Coordinate with internal teams to design, order, and track new implementations for OSPs and PSAPs
Build and maintain network architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards
Ensure network security through appropriate protocols and controls
Troubleshoot installation/decommissioning issues; monitor performance during cutover phases and optimize as needed
Provide technical guidance/mentorship to junior engineers; stay current on industry trends and best practices
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Network Architect (or similar)
Familiarity/experience with legacy 9-1-1 systems and protocols, including CAMA, ISDN, T1/T3, ALI circuits, fiber transport, VoIP, and/or SIP
Experience delivering network design and implementation projects
Working knowledge of planning and project-managing installation/modification of TDM and SIP circuits
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills (comfortable navigating ambiguity), plus strong communication and teamwork
High attention to detail and quality
US Citizen required

Deep knowledge of 9-1-1 network protocols/architecture/security; experience interpreting complex designs and building diverse 9-1-1 networks
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, ENP
