Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Partner with product management to define product roadmaps, development goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for new device programs
Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams through all product development phases, including discovery, concept, prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, ramp-up, and launch
Budget & Schedule Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and timelines. Proactively identify and address potential delays or risks to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks across technical, supply chain, and regulatory areas throughout the development lifecycle
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and alignment between engineering, design, marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure cohesive product development
Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of consumer electronics hardware, software, and manufacturing processes to guide informed decisions
Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control measures to ensure products meet rigorous standards and exceed customer expectations
Vendor & Supplier Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with contracts, and alignment with project goals
Post-Launch Support: Monitor product performance after launch and implement improvements as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
Proven experience managing complex programs from concept to completion using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
Strong technical understanding of consumer electronics development, including hardware, software, and manufacturing processes
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams while managing multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical details to diverse audiences
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Experience delivering consumer electronics projects on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards for consumer electronics

Preferred

Passion for hunting or the outdoors
Experience as a Program Manager, Project Lead, or similar leadership role
Experience with budgetary planning, cost tracking, and financial accountability for projects
