Real Estate and Community Development Finance Analyst (Housing Community Developer II)

Responsibilities
Support a team of underwriters in the review and due diligence of new loans
Closing support for finance projects
Compliance of the loan portfolio
Support compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidance, and internal policies
Working collaboratively with other county departments, outside agencies and third-party developers, and financing partners
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study such as planning, engineering, architecture, economics, construction science, business or public administration, finance, real estate, social work, public policy or other related field
Two years of experience related to assigned program area
The appointee to the position must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check
Preferred
Experience with how local government entities engage in affordable housing
Thorough understanding of affordable housing related processes
Experience with loan portfolio management, particularly with regards to affordable housing projects
Excellent communication, collaboration and analytical skills
