Research & Resolution Specialist

Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize outstanding balances based on research and reports provided by RRMs
Research and resolve open invoices and credits by utilizing company software and tools
Recognize and communicate trends in problematic accounts and payers to management
Work all monthly-predetermined balances through adjudication and resolution
Document all efforts to resolve balances utilizing designated software and reports
Build and maintain effective relationships with Epic team members and representatives of commercial and state payers relevant to your open balances
Review each payer’s specific guidelines (rates, filing/appeal deadlines, forms, etc.) as needed
Promptly reply to inquiries made by Aveanna employees regarding your assignments

Required

High school diploma is required
Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel and the internet
Experience with Kantime
Must be able to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times

Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance
Performs duties in an office environment during agency operating hours
Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
