Responsibilities
Oversee all property management accounting across multiple portfolios leveraging expert proficiency in Yardi (Commercial Voyager, Breeze Premiere)
Architect, document, and enforce standard operating procedures, internal controls, and approval workflows for a fast-growing platform
Proactively manage and optimize month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and client reporting to minimize 'fire drills'
Serve as primary accounting contact for major institutional and private equity clients, presenting confidently and guiding process discussions
Build/develop an accounting team—recruit, onboard, delegate, and lead as business requires
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7 years' progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in commercial real estate (industrial preferred)
Demonstrated deep expertise in Yardi property management accounting platforms
Proven ability to architect, document, and implement accounting processes in new or scaling organizations
