The selected individual will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to manufacturing processes, assisting in developing manufacturing techniques, and participating in safety analysis and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

Collect/analyze data related to various manufacturing processes and participate in time studies

Provide sheet yields and run times for basic CNC operations to support quoting activities

Value Stream Mapping

Development and Documentation and of new processes as well as reviewing and updating existing processes as needed

Assist in developing manufacturing techniques, procedures, and processing conditions to produce a wide range of materials such as thermoplastic and thermoset elastomers, foam, honeycomb, composite materials, etc

Safety analysis and continuous improvement projects

Sophomore or junior level preferred, in a B.S. degree program or graduate in a M.S degree program from an accredited college or university in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other applicable technical field

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software preferred
